Bachelor of Arts in History

Students in Clayton State's undergraduate history major program have the unique opportunity of choosing from one of four different concentrations: World Cultures, Public History, or simply taking more upper division history courses. Our program is enriched and enhanced by the location of the Georgia Archives and the National Archives at Atlanta adjacent to campus. Clayton State students may elect to explore the archives studies concentration or to choose another concentration or an appropriate minor, such as Spanish or Philosophy. In this way, our history curriculum equips graduates with the knowledge and background required for either graduate study or perhaps direct entry into the world of work.
