A. A. Core Curriculum Chemistry Pathway

In addition to the three American Chemical Society (ACS) certified Bachelor of Science Degrees, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry also offers an Associate Degree in Core Curriculum with Pathway Courses in Chemistry. The associate degree curriculum is centered on foundational courses in chemistry and mathematics with elective courses in biology, analytical chemistry, mathematics, and/or physics. The associate degree is attractive to many students because it can be completed in just two years.

Chemistry with Concentration in Chemical Physics

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry offers three American Chemical Society (ACS) certified degrees. The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Chemistry with Chemical Physics Concentration is designed for students who have a strong interest in fundamental science, especially chemistry and physics, and have an aptitude for mathematics.
